Kelowna homeowner cuts down trees on his property to prevent usage by unhouse people

Kris Hyam says his home is in a high-traffic area for people experiencing homelessness, and many have been leaving belongings on his property, including needles and used crack pipes. “Having someone in your yard who is not invited is extremely aggravating. It feels like a violation,” Hyam said. The homeowner decided to remove much of the privacy around his front yard, which took three full weekends and cost him about $600.
