As of Wednesday morning, the Bald Range wildfire had grown again, measuring 18,450 hectares amid a possibility of thunderstorms, which may create unstable winds that could potentially increase fire behaviour — according to the BC Wildfire Service. In an update issued on the BC government website, accommodations for evacuees are available for those who have been displaced by the Bald Range wildfire in the form of hotel rooms in Penticton, Kelowna and West Kelowna.
