Deadly fire in Brampton home kills 2, injures at least 4

Police say at least 11 people were living in the home, with 9 from a multi-generational family, while two people lived in the basement unit. Brampton Fire Chief Andy Glynn said the fire broke out at a home on Banas Way at around 2:30 a.m., adding that investigators and excavators were working "to slowly dismantle this unit to look for any individuals that still might be inside."
