India warns its military operation "not over yet" as ceasefire with Pakistan holds

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/PvHzByK India's defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday that "Operation Sindoor is not over yet", days after India and Pakistan ended their military conflict. Speaking to troops in India's Gujarat, Singh said Operation Sindoor - the name given to last week's military operation - was "just a trailer". Singh also called for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to rethink its decision to lend around $1 billion to Pakistan. The remark comes after the International Monetary Fund executive board last week approved a fresh $1.4 billion loan to Pakistan under its climate resilience fund and approved the first review of its $7 billion program, freeing about $1 billion in cash. Meanwhile, residents living in Poonch, a village in Indian-administered Kashmir bordering Pakistan, said that "war does not solve any issue,” and added that they felt “terrified” when an escalation in hostilities between the neighbouring countries killed dozens of civilians who were caught in the crossfire.
