Vance says US creating new AG position to combat fraud; ICE officer was previously dragged by car

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/D0r92mY During a White House press briefing on Thursday, Vice President JD Vance said the administration is creating a new assistant attorney general position with nationwide jurisdiction to combat fraud involving taxpayer dollars. Vance also commented on the fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday and said the woman who was killed was “part of a broader left-wing network to attack, to dox, to assault and to make it impossible for our ICE officers to do their job,” which has not been confirmed. Vance added the ICE agent who fatally shot the woman had previously been dragged by a vehicle and injured. Vance said the officer “nearly had his life ended” after being dragged by a car six months ago, causing an injury requiring more than 30 stitches in his leg. “So you think maybe he's a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile,” Vance said.
