https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/gj7u6ib Dec. 8, 2025, marks the 45th anniversary of late The Beatles singer-songwriter John Lennon. The Liverpool-born star was shot dead in New York City in 1980. As per tradition, thousands of fans gathered at Strawberry Fields on Monday — the memorial placed in Central Park, where Lennon was killed — to commemorate the music icon. Fans offered tributes to Lennon in the form of words, songs, and art. “I think the Beatles were just such a historically wonderful band and their music is so identifiable, and [Lennon] was at the helm of that,” India Flanagan, a fan of the late musician said. To this day, Mark David Chapman, the man who assassinated Lennon, remains in prison. His next hearing is in February 2027 — though he has been denied parole on several occasions.
