Nine people have died after a private jet nosedived and crashed near a neighbourhood in Palm Beach County, Fla. on Sunday. The victims, who have not yet been identified, were all aboard the Bahamas-bound Learjet 60 aircraft. Dashcam footage from a local driver captured the moment of impact, while Miami air traffic control audio reveals the distressed pilot reported icing and severe turbulence moments before declaring a mayday. Towards the end of the conversation, the plane was dropping at roughly 22,000 feet per minute. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched an investigation.
