DeKalb County police officer killed in shooting near CDC headquarters in Atlanta

Authorities say the suspect was also killed and there is no indication of a second shooter. Authorities have identified the suspect as a 30-year-old man from suburban Atlanta. No civilian injuries were reported, but officials described the loss as a “very dark day” for the county. The officer leaves behind a wife and three children, including one unborn.
