"It was a horrible morning in Kharkiv, which was hit by 48 Shaheds (Russain attack drones), four guided bombs and two missiles. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were hit," Kharkiv mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said. More than 200 missiles and drones were fired, almost half of which were shot down, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. "These Russian attacks are not retaliatory, they are intended for destruction. Complete destruction of life – that is their goal," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his regular evening address.
