Amazon is expanding its drone delivery service in the US. Canada could be next

Some experts say consumer drone delivery could be on the horizon here, too, with Transport Canada recently updating flight regulations. Josh Ogden, chief executive officer of AVSS, a New Brunswick headquartered maker of drone safety products, says Transport Canada’s approach to drone delivery "will be more sustainable" in the long run as companies develop their capabilities. While Amazon hasn't announced plans to expand its service into Canada, drone delivery exists here on a case-by-case basis, including a pilot project to transport medical supplies.
