During a press conference in Vancouver on Tuesday, B.C. Attorney General Niki Sharma said the government is working with the families of victims on their own lawsuits, noting some are in the “early stages in their proceedings.” “As the community continues to heal, our government remains focused on supporting those affected and pursuing accountability,” Sharma said. She continued: “When there are serious concerns that opportunities to prevent harm were missed, we, as a government, have a responsibility to act. We owe that to the victims, their families and everyone whose life was changed by this tragedy.” For more info, please go to https://ift.tt/eiomfPz Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on TikTok HERE: https://ift.tt/Kit0RaT #GlobalNews #OpenAI #TumblerRidge
