Carney said his government will focus on diversifying trade partners, attracting investment and building new economic and energy corridors across Canada; drawing examples from Canadian history as inspiration for his government's vision. He added the plan also includes strengthening industries hit by U.S. tariffs and making the economy more self-reliant at home.
