https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/DVndk4f New reports out of Iran Tuesday show just how much the protests have intensified, as an Iranian official told Reuters that over 2,000 people have been killed by what they describe as "terrorists." This is the first time authorities have confirmed the growing death toll as the government continues to crack down on protests. Iranian activists who say they've spoken to people inside Iran say the situation is different from what the regime is publicly saying. The Islamic Republic "used those videos to show completely differently how the situation is, what is happening there," activist Shiva Bouroumand told Reuters. The Iranian regime "are trying to make it seem like the only problem... was just an economical problem. But it's so much bigger than that and it's the accumulation of the rage and anger people had for so many years," another activist said.
