Poilievre demands to know if Carney saw anti-tariff ad before it aired in US

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/sHy1k5R During question period in the House of Commons on Tuesday, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre questioned the Liberal government over the Ontario-run anti-tariff advertisement campaign aired in the United States that angered U.S. President Donald Trump. The anti-tariff advertisement funded by Doug Ford was blamed by Trump as the cause for him cancelling trade negotiations with Canada and imposing an additional 10 per cent tariff on Canadian imports. Poilievre asked whether Prime Minister Mark Carney had seen the ad before it aired and blasted the government for failing to reach a deal with the U.S. by July 21, the deadline initially promised by Carney to reach a trade deal with the U.S. “Yesterday, his latest excuse was that an Ontario government ad prevented him from keeping his promise. So yes or no, did the Prime Minister or his staff see the ad before?,” Poilievre asked.
