Vancouver police confirmed on Sunday morning that 11 people were killed and dozens more injured in the incident. Interim Chief Const. Steve Rai said the suspect, who remains in custody, approached the festival from East 43rd Street and drove through the crowd. The driver, a 30-year-old Vancouver resident, was the lone occupant and Raid said evidence does not lead investigators to believe it was an act of terrorism. However, the motive remains unclear.
