"We're now cut off from most of the world. So the people who this is gonna hurt the most is the United States. It's people, it's moms and dads and families in America," Wolfers tells Global's Jackson Proskow. He also said the shock and uncertainty facing the global economy now is identical to what happened during the COVID-19 era, only this time — there's no vaccine. "This is the moment of utter chaos...and President Trump has done what only a virus could previously do, which is impose those levels of fear and uncertainty all around the world," he added.
