Toronto shooting: 2 dead in city's Riverdale neighbourhood as police hunt for suspects

Police said the shooting happened near Bain and Logan avenues at around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday. Det. Sgt. Al Bartlett with the homicide unit said when officers arrived they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims died at the scene while the other was rushed to hospital where he later died as well, Bartlett said. “Despite the best efforts of our first responders and the medical staff, this male was also pronounced deceased in hospital,” he told reporters in an update on Wednesday.
