The service told Global News Monday afternoon it has dispatched three air ambulances: two from Toronto and one from London, to the airport in Mississauga. Peel paramedics told Global News it received reports around 2:13 p.m. for a plane crash at the airport. The aircraft ended up upside-down. The airport confirmed the incident in a post on X Monday. “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis,” they wrote. Several flights scheduled to depart Toronto have either been delayed or cancelled outright.
