New Mexico police give update after deaths of Gene Hackman and wife deemed "suspicious" | LIVE

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/0dFIjMb Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza is set to hold a press conference Friday afternoon to provide an update on the investigation of the deaths of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his musician wife, Betsy Arakawa. Hackman, 95, was found dead at the entryway of his Santa Fe home Wednesday, while Arakawa, 63, was found in a bathroom next to a space heater. The body of one of their dogs – a German shepherd – was discovered in a bathroom closet. The couple’s other two dogs were alive. Mendoza told reporters Friday that it appeared “just based on their body and other evidence on the body, it appears several days, possibly even a up to a couple weeks” had passed before their bodies were found. The New Mexico Gas Co. tested gas lines at the home but didn’t find any signs of problems at the time, according to the warrant. Although the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office said “foul play is not a suspected factor,” they have since declared that the circumstances surrounding the deaths “suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation.” For more info, please go to https://ift.tt/mKyCjb0 Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Like Global News on Facebook HERE: http://bit.ly/255GMJQ Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on Instagram HERE: https://bit.ly/2QZaZIB #GlobalNews #GeneHackman #BetsyArakawa #Investigation
