https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/pKy1N6Q The suspect in a deadly stabbing rampage in the Austrian city of Villach was inspired by the Islamic State and radicalized online, police in the province of Carinthia said Sunday. A 14-year-old boy was killed in Saturday’s attack and five other people were wounded, police said. Karner warned of random police checks in the wake of the attack and “legal revisions” to protect Austrian citizens. Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner said a 23-year-old Syrian man was arrested soon after the attack. Authorities said the man had sworn an oath of allegiance to the Islamic State. The attack in Villach followed the thwarting of a plot in August to carry out a suicide attack at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna by a teen who had sworn allegiance to the Islamic State.
