Canada’s foreign minister says Arctic security threat has “changed significantly”

Earlier this year, NATO allies stopped a Russian submarine that was training to damage undersea cables in the Arctic, and a vessel in Russia’s shadow fleet damaged four cables near the Baltics. With the Arctic threat escalating, northern nations – including Canada – are now pushing to increase security in the region.
