https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/JB61ypt Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced Thursday her government is launching a new website to educate voters ahead of her government’s plan to hold a referendum vote in October. Smith announced in February that she would put nine questions to Albertans, including proposals to restrict social services from some immigrants and whether the government should push to abolish the federal Senate. “We want Albertans to understand what a yes vote means and the actions our government will take as a result,” she said. The separatist group Stay Free Alberta is currently collecting signatures for a referendum on Alberta’s independence. Smith said the government would wait to determine if the signatures from the petition are verified before confirming whether that question would be on the ballot.
