"My brother has been missing since yesterday,” said Mohammad Sohel, whose brother Mohammad Robin worked at the factory. “Nobody is providing proper information.” "Everyone told me the door was padlocked. Why? Why was there a lock on the door? This is my question... I want justice!" said Laizu Begum, searching for her sister Nargis Akter, 19, who worked as a sewing operator at the factory. Local authorities have yet to confirm the total number of missing individuals, and investigations into the cause of the explosion are underway. The fire broke out at around midday on the third floor of the seven-storey factory in the Mirpur area of the capital, Dhaka, before spreading to a chemical warehouse storing bleaching powder, plastic and hydrogen peroxide, according to the fire department.
