Measles can ‘erase’ your immune system’s memory. Here’s how

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/vxyT38k Canada's top doctor says time is ticking to get Ontario's measles outbreak under control. The disease was declared eradicated in Canada as of 1998, but is hitting communities across the country. Measles is serious but preventable with vaccination. If this outbreak isn't brought under control by October, Canada's chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says Canada is at risk of losing its elimination status. Global’s Health reporter Katherine Ward has more on what's at stake.
