https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChLtXXpo4Ge1ReTEboVvTDg https://ift.tt/EbUKQw1 Cardinals from around the world met on Monday for the first time after the funeral of Pope Francis and have decided that the conclave to elect a successor to Pope Francis will begin on May 7. “We are praying for a new Pope. I am sure the new Pope will be as Franciscus, the same vision, the same dreams," said Cardinal Gregorio Rosa Chavez. Vatican expert Philip Pullella explained that the conclave will go on until they have elected a pope. Once they have, white smoke will emerge from the chimney above the Sistine Chapel. After each new round of voting, if a new pope has not been elected, black smoke will be emitted. Some 135 cardinals, all under the age of 80 and from across the world, are eligible to take part in the conclave and decide who should be the next leader of the 1.4-billion-member Church.
