He said the maximum length would be extended from 38 weeks to 76 weeks. Mary Ng, minister of export promotion, international trade and economic development, announced also announced an investment of $5 billion over two years for Export Development Canada, to help Canadian businesses meet challenges posed by U.S. Donald Trump’s tariffs.
